Despite the looks, not too bad. Takes like 3 minutes to get this deep into it. Which I suppose is why it was considered acceptable to remove all the facial features to maintain the illumination devices

Same for my 6.0 powerstroke. Kinda a pain imo instead of being able to reach behind the light

I was going to help the elderly couple across the street with their Caddy SRX with a headlight housing replacement as they were etched from the inside and permanently foggy. I forget what the dealership wanted to charge them but it was roughly the book value of the vehicle. Long story short I looked at the procedure and it was essentially: Step 1, disassemble entire car.
I noped out. I didn't like them that much.

You should replace the weak ass horn while the grill is off. I hate the sound mine made.

I imagine they're removable, but yeah they come out as a unit. Makes it easy

It is, but it's still amazing how fast this is to do. Messing with the lower lights is actually the slowest part, because they have actual bolts

These are getting foggy too... But it looks like they can actually be unclipped and opened??? Dunno, maybe they’re just to hold everything togetherat the factory while the adhesive dried . Just noticed the clips yesterday, haven’t done any research

I should have... I think I about burned mine out one day, held it on until it started to warble. Never been the same since.
